The Finance and Administration Department is responsible for overseeing all financial transactions of AMSAHK, maintaining the financial assets of the Association, as well as advising the Standing Committees on financial matters.
Every year, FAD issues two major reports: the Financial Budget and the Financial Report. The Financial Budget estimates and regulates the expenditure of the Association; the Financial Report summarises all income and expenditure during the Financial Year.
Administrative duties of FAD include the monthly archiving of documents from each department. By implementing this organised archive, documents from previous years can be extracted for reference in the future.
Over the course of this year, FAD plans to further its role in adminstrative matters of the Association. Such duties include room-booking, managing the post office box, keeping track of materials owned by the Association through an inventory, compiling a directory of external contacts for use by the Association, as well as exploring opportunities for storage space and/or an office.
