Acting as a bridge for communication, the Public Relations Department has committed itself to managing all external correspondence of AMSAHK. It is responsible for fundraising activities to support the association's daily operations and to sponsor delegates at international conferences. It also aims to elevate local awareness towards the Association among members of the public and medical sectors.
This year being the "Year of Voyage", AMSAHK will be embarking on different adventures. Not only are we continuing in the foundation of local action laid by our preceding years, we are also preparing to host the Joint Conference 2011 next year. It is therefore our mission to establish long term relationships with sponsors and other supporting organizations, and at the same time maintain our exposure in the local community through public health promotion. Despite the foreseeable challenges, we are confident that 2010 will be yet another enjoyable and rewarding year, in which we will be able to experience the essence of teamwork, organisation and dynamism.
