Academic Papers
Two collections of the blood, sweat and tears of our academic team members
1) Alcoholism in Hong Kong
For the 21st East Asian Medical Students' Conference, we reviewed the current alcoholism situation and relevant statistics in Hong Kong, and collected insights from alcohol-dependent individuals. In addition to all of that, this paper also includes a three-tier approach to improve intervention...are we good or what?
Actually, we were good, and this won us 1st runner-up at the EAMSC Paper Competition!

2) Occupational Repetitive Strain Injuries
When we say non-communicable diseases, you will probably immediately think of cancer, diabetes and various respiratory problems. In this paper prepared for the 29th Asian Medical Students' Conference, we have taken the fresh approach of looking into occupational repetitive strain injuries. Often overshadowed by other seemingly more dangerous diseases and underreported by patients and the media alike, this silent baddie has crippled the workforce in Hong Kong for years. For this reason, we believed it was time to give RSIs some overdue attention.
