AMSAHK:
• Is a non-profit, non-political student organization, relying solely
on contributions from benevolent sponsors
• The only joint-university medical student body in Hong Kong run
by medical students from the Hong Kong University and the Chinese University
of Hong Kong
• Sends medical students to annual international conferences for
international exposure
• Organizes activities in collaboration with the World Health Organization
• A member of both Asian Medical Students’ Association International
(AMSA) and the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations
(IFMSA)
• Awarded the Hong Kong Convention Ambassador Award by the Hong
Kong Tourism Board for reinforcing Hong Kong's role as a world class convention
destination by hosting the 27th Asian Medical Students' Conference
