Organized by the Asian Medical Students' Association Hong Kong (AMSAHK), MedStart is a 2-day medical school immersion program for secondary school students who are interested in applying to medical school.

The theme of MedStart 2023 was “Recover with Resilience”, which shedded light on the pivotal role of One Health in the robust recovery from the three-year pandemic 🦠🌍. Over the span of two days, students learnt about the complex and interesting interactions between environmental health 🌳, animal health 🐓, and human health 🫀, as well as the diverse role allied healthcare professionals play in post-pandemic recovery, all while getting a taste of life as a medical student at HKU and CUHK!
