Organized by the Asian Medical Students' Association Hong Kong (AMSAHK), MedStart is a 2-day medical school immersion program for secondary school students who are interested in applying to medical school.

The theme of MedStart 2024 was “Health Innovation and Technology”, which provided aspiring medics a glimpse into the life of a medical student, and how our knowledge relates to and impacts the world around us, while touching on how technology is impacting the healthcare sector. Over the span of two days, students learnt about the complex and interesting interactions between AI and medicine, as well as the diverse role allied healthcare professionals play in medical innovations, all while getting a taste of life as a medical student at HKU and CUHK!
